Members from Canberra have attended in the past, the FlatFour
club comes to Autofest each year (yellow and black shirts) so we
should repay the custom.
Convoy Details
Meet 0600 - 0615 @ Shell Service Station, just outside of EPIC
Federal Highway.
Departure 0620, please be punctual
Estimated drive time 2 1/2 hours
Return on completion, approximately 3pm. Prior entry will secure
a position and will also save your wallet a few $. $10 Cheaper
prior to 31st October.

23 Nov - Marques In The Park - The annual car show Marques In The Park will be held on 23 Nov 08. This show is for all makes of cars and always has a wide selection of clubs involved. Traditionally entrants meet in Civic and drive in a convoy to Belconnen (John Knight Memorial Park) and then setup their display for the public to view.

8.00 – 9.00 am - Clubs
and individuals, Meet at the Futsal Stadium (Large car park near
boat hire, next to Commonwealth Avenue Bridge) Barrine Dr,
Action Park, Civic.
8.30 - 9.15 am - Cruise
to John Knight Park, Belconnen
10.00 am – 3.00 pm - Kick
back and relax
- Vehicles on the cruise will receive a
‘SHANNONS Event’ window sticker
on arrival at the Futsal stadium as well as a map with
directions to John Knight Park and a show bag with goodies from
our sponsors … Shannons Insurance, and SOS Recruitment as major
sponsors and assisted by Injekt’d, Elite Car Sound and Vision
and Green Light Mortgages.

Kids Car Show & Kids Corner @ Shannon's German Autofest
Children and their families are encouraged to
bring along their favorite peddle car, model, match box ,
hot wheel etc. The only condition is it must be or resemble
a Volkswagen and entrant’s age is limited to 15 and below.
Where:
Sunday 20TH September 2009 Shannon's German
Autofest
Prizes:
Multiple
awards presented on the day.
All participants will receive a Lolly bag for
their entry and a mystery encouragement award will also be
awarded on the day.
Time:
Judging 2pm, at CVD tent. (Subject to change)
Also on the day will be a kid’s corner with a
wide array of activities, competitions and prizes.
